The House is approximately 2200 SF and exceptionally appointed to reflect the ease and tranquility of the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. We've specially selected unique furnishings for every room, for your comfort and enjoyment, and placed a hot tub just outside the door, perched among the gorgeous rock outcroppings for you to enjoy the views and relax to the max.
Easily accessible from I70, HW285, or HW73, by paved roads and highways. Our home and cabin are on a well maintained dirt road. We've never had to have driveway plowed with regular amounts of up to 18 inches of snowfall, thanks to the sun and the SW exposure, however we plow as needed for easy access. We recommend four wheel drive in the winter months.
Living room has grand 2 story vaulted ceilings with the views commanding the stage. There is a wood stove, TV with DVD player, stereo, and Colorado Style decor. Also, you will enjoy newly installed cozy Pine flooring in the Living room. The Dining room is open to the kitchen and Living room. The custom dining table seats 8-10. Custom tiled breakfast bar seats three. The unique buffet with deer horn door and drawer pulls and natural stone top, has built in wine rack. Beautiful wood stairs lead to the different levels in the home.

No matter what time of year, you'll find just what you want to do here...or nothing at all... Winter snow boarding or skiing is just about an hour drive, or you're down the mountain to Professional sporting events: hockey, football, basket ball, baseball, and soccer in 30 minutes! Fine dining in Denver or an entertaining rustic Colorado evening at The Bucksnort Saloon, also a 30 minute drive. So many choices, so close.
Our 4.25 acres abuts to over 1000 acres of park land! No motorized vehicles are allowed, but your pets are welcome. There is lots of space to hike and roam around to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. A short 10 minute walk will take you to a peak over looking all of Evergreen and the Lake, and gorgeous views of Mount Evans. This is a breathtaking spot for a picnic lunch, and something you won't soon forget! Watch for all the wildlife along the way!
The Mountain Home has three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and an open loft with a sleeper sofa. There are 2 queen beds, 1 king bed in the Master Bedroom, 1 full, 1 twin, which add up to nine sleeping comfortably! The master bedroom is on the main level with the kitchen, dining area, and living area, and the other two bedrooms are upstairs. There's plenty of space for everyone!
The Master Bedroom is furnished with a handsome King Bedroom suite sittin on top of beautiful new cushy carpet. A feather bed tops the pillow top mattress, for the ultimate comfort and luxury. 1000 thread count sheets make sleeping a wonderful experience. Heavy, beautiful, and rugged furniture, together with Chocolate Brown accents in the room, and leather & cowhide pillows tie the decor in nicely to the Colorado Style in the rest of the home. A dark brown leather club chair rounds out the bedroom suite. The Master Bath is outfitted with his and her sinks, a long vanity with plenty of storage, toilet and walk in shower!
The Guest room has a distinctly Southwestern flair. Indian rug throws over the suede cloth comforter and leather chair along with American Indian art work look great. The Queen Poster bed set with copper accents match the dresser also set with acid washed copper.
Jarrett's room sleeps 4-5! It's the kids room in the house, and has a cabin feel to it complete with bears. There is a bunk bed with a full size bed on bottom and a twin on top. And the bedroom has a sleeping loft with another Queen size bed accessible by a rolling library ladder. There is a operable window up in the loft where one can see the hot tub, the cabin, and let in the cool mountain breezes!
The guest bath is on the upper level with Jarrett's bedroom and the guest room. There is a tub/shower combination and plenty of thirsty Egyptian Cotton towels. It also has the distinctive Colorado Style decor. The smartly styled half bath is on the main level with the Kitchen, Living Room, and Dining area.
